NYC Dance Festival ballroom dancing competition videos and photos

Our ballroom dance formation team of 16 people from Albany traveled to the NYC dance festival this past weekend. I took several videos and photos to share with you.
Here is a video from just outside of the competition ballroom. You can get a sense of the excitement and ballroom dance vendors.

Next I chat with Paul and Louise our ballroom dance team choreographers and teachers. Paul and Louise are the best dancers in their age group in the United States and super awesome people to be around.

Albany Ballroom dance team performs West Side Story Medley

I am really enjoying learning this ballroom dance choreography with many friends in the Albany ballroom dancing community. The video above is from our December 15, 2012 performance at Danceland 3 in Latham, NY. Special thanks to my wonderful wife Dawn for videotaping the show.

We ill be performing several more times around Albany, Glens Falls and Pittsfield in the coming months. We may also be competing with this routine. These are great people to be around and it feels real good to be creating something wonderful together.
